In order to share the losses with families of traffic accident victims, all levels, sectors and localities in the province have organized many activities such as visiting, giving gifts and encouraging families of victims who died due to traffic accidents. At the same time, through that, each person is advised and warned to build a traffic culture environment, obey the law, and contribute to reducing traffic accidents.

The working delegation of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee visited, encouraged and gave gifts to relatives of victims who died in traffic accidents in Zone 10, Xuan Thuy Commune, Yen Lap District.

In mid-November 2024, we and the working group of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee visited Ms. Trieu Thi Ly - wife of Mr. TTN, born in 1991, in Zone 10, Xuan Thuy Commune, Yen Lap District. Although trying to hold back her pain, when talking to the working group, Ms. Ly could not hide the tears rolling down her cheeks because she lost her husband in a traffic accident. At 6:45 p.m. on January 9, 2024, Mr. N was driving a motorbike on route Km59+100, National Highway 70B in Dong Bang area, Hung Long Commune, Yen Lap District. At that time, the driver of the truck with the crane was driving on the wrong side of the road and collided with the motorbike driven by Mr. N. As a result, Mr. N died at the District Medical Center. Now Ms. Ly's small house is becoming more and more empty, the warm meals of the whole family are no longer as complete as before.

As for Ms. Tran Thi Xep - wife of Mr. NVN, in Zone 7, Thach Son Commune, Lam Thao District, the past days have been endless. Mr. N was the victim of a traffic accident that occurred on the inter-village road in Zone 3, Thach Son Commune on October 22, 2024. Her family's circumstances were difficult, so Mr. N's death left her and her children with great pain; the terrifying obsession of the traffic accident for those left behind does not know when it will subside.

The above are just a few cases of families whose relatives were unfortunately involved in traffic accidents. Witnessing these situations, one can understand the heartbreaking consequences caused by traffic accidents. Many victims are school-age students, the main breadwinners in the family, which further reduces the family's economic situation. Some families are facing increasing difficulties because they have to borrow money to treat their relatives who were involved in traffic accidents. Perhaps nothing can fully describe the pain of families whose relatives suddenly pass away in traffic accidents. Some people are haunted for a long time when witnessing their relatives being involved in an accident with an unsound body. There are cases of traffic accidents that are lucky to escape death but are left disabled for life.

As usual, the “World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims” is the third Sunday of November every year. The Provincial Traffic Safety Committee has coordinated with sectors and localities to carry out many synchronous plans such as: Strengthening the propaganda of traffic culture, widely disseminating the purpose and meaning of the event to commemorate the victims of traffic accidents, addresses in need of help and sharing from society. At the same time, warning about the serious consequences of traffic accidents, risks, causes of traffic accidents and preventive measures; improving the quality of infrastructure, overcoming black spots on traffic routes...

Comrade Nguyen Van Danh - Chief of Office of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee informed: From November 14 to 20, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee organized delegations to visit, give gifts, and encourage 12 families of traffic accident victims in especially difficult circumstances in the province. Through sharing, hoping that families with relatives in traffic accidents can somehow overcome the pain, rise up in life, become effective propagandists, contributing to raising awareness and responsibility of each individual and the community when participating in traffic.

To achieve the goal of reducing the number of cases, deaths and injuries due to traffic accidents, in addition to the drastic participation of the entire political system and functional forces, the cooperation of the people and the social community is needed. In particular, with the activities responding to the "World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Accident Victims" in 2024, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee requires organizations, unions, religions and all people to strictly comply with the provisions of the law on traffic safety, comply with the law on not driving after drinking alcohol or beer; comply with the regulations on speed, do not speed or overtake recklessly when driving; wear a standard helmet when riding a motorbike, motorbike, electric bicycle, always wear a seat belt when sitting in a car participating in traffic...
