After two preliminary and semi-final rounds held in three regions across the country, surpassing hundreds of contestants, the Organizing Committee and the jury of the "Vietnam Music Talent" season 4 competition have found the 15 most promising and quality singers to participate in the final round. The program was broadcast live on VTC6 channel, VTC Digital Television Station.

With nearly 500 contestants registered from all over the country, the "Vietnam Music Talent" contest season IV has gathered a large number of contestants with high quality in both professional qualifications and singing talent.

Regarding the results, the final performance and award ceremony of the "Vietnamese Music Talent" contest season 4 named 3 champions in 3 music genres including: Pham Hoang Quynh Giang - SBD 238 (folk music and lyrical music); Trong Thao - SBD 305 (Bolero music); Nguyen Thi Thao - SBD 234 (popular music).

With a powerful voice, meticulous investment in image, costume and accompaniment, contestant Pham Hoang Quynh Giang conquered the judges and audience with the song "Ve lai Lam giang" (composed by Vu Quoc Nam, lyrics by Xuan Viet) in the folk and lyrical music genres. The song "Giàn hớn 2" (composed by Ngoc Son) helped Hoang Trong Thao win the championship of the Bolero music genre. Nguyen Thi Thao, candidate 234, with her attractive appearance and stage presence, also won the championship of the youth music genre with the song "Nua de nam" (composed by Hoang Dung).

The 3 first runner-up prizes of the 3 music genres went to contestant Hana Quynh Hoa – SBD 231 – folk music and lyrical music; contestant Nguyen Phi Hoang – SBD 108 – Bolero music; contestant Le Ly – SBD 256 – pop music.

The 2nd Runner-up Prize was awarded to 3 contestants: Folk and lyrical music – Dinh Hai Nam – Candidate No. 181; Bolero music – Hoang Anh Nhan – Candidate No. 291; Youth music belongs to Nguyen Hung Thinh – Candidate No. 242.

Promising awards went to: contestant Mai Chung – Candidate No. 239, folk and lyrical music; contestant Duong Van Luong – Candidate No. 207 – Bolero music; contestant Le Huyen My – Candidate No. 208 – pop music.

The most popular contestant award went to contestant Le Ngoc Linh – SBD 135, folk and lyrical music; contestant Nguyen Thi Thu Hoa – SBD 225, Bolero music; contestant Nguyen Xuan Quyet – SBD 152.

In order to find musical talents to serve the high-quality music programs of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Digital Television (VTC), and at the same time introduce the cultural identity of Vietnam through folk, lyrical or pop melodies, entering the 5th season, the "Vietnamese Music Talent" contest will focus on finding more candidates with talent, ability, qualifications and especially those who love and are passionate about singing and music. Conditions for participating in the contest: Be a citizen living and working in Vietnam, aged 18 to 40 for pop music, 18 to 45 for folk music and 18 to 55 for lyrical music. Contestants are not under investigation by law enforcement agencies, have good morals and lifestyles and must be responsible for their statements.

The contest is held in a direct format at the preliminary round held in 3 regions across the country. The performances and presentations of songs not included in the list of banned works are allowed to be performed and circulated nationwide and in other mass media.

The expected prize structure is 3 Championship prizes for 3 music genres - each prize has a total value of 100,000,000 VND; 3 First Runner-up prizes - each prize has a total value of 70,000,000 VND; 3 Second Runner-up prizes, each prize has a total value of 50,000,000 VND; 3 Promising prizes, each prize has a total value of 30,000,000 VND; 3 Most Favorite Contestant prizes, each prize has a total value of 30,000,000 VND.
