WHA Smart Technology 2 Industrial Park - Thanh Hoa, part of Giang Quang Thinh Industrial Park, Thieu Hoa district, proposed by WHA Group - Thailand, with an area of ​​174.9 hectares, total investment capital of 1,275 billion VND, the project is being appraised by the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

The Western Industrial Park of Thanh Hoa City - Phase 1 proposed by Sumitomo Group - Japan, with an area of ​​167 hectares, total investment capital of 2,918 billion VND, the project is being appraised by the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

Industrial Park No. 19, part of Nghi Son Economic Zone, proposed by Vietnam - Japan Hop Thanh Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company, with an area of ​​295 hectares and a total investment of VND 2,360 billion, the project is being evaluated by the Ministry of Planning and Investment and requires the Investor to complete the project dossier.

Thus, up to now, in Nghi Son Economic Zone and industrial parks of Thanh Hoa province, there have been 491 projects put into operation; the total value of industrial production, services and trade from the beginning of the 2020 - 2025 term to date has reached over 670,000 billion VND, creating jobs for over 98,000 workers, with an average salary of 6.7 million VND/person/month.
