CAHN successfully recruited a young Vietnamese star from an English Premier League club

After a long period of speculation, Hanoi Police Club has officially won the signature of Vietnamese-American player Brandon Ly from Burnley. Details of the agreement were not disclosed by the parties.

Brandon Ly is one of the most promising young talents of Vietnamese origin today. The 19-year-old midfielder has a Vietnamese father and an Irish mother. He grew up in the Sheffield United youth academy before moving to Burnley in 2023.

According to transfermartk, Brandon Ly is 1.75m tall and plays as a defensive midfielder. In addition, he can play as a central midfielder and right-back when needed. Last season, Brandon Ly was a mainstay of Burnley U21, playing 32 matches in the Professional Development League, the second division of youth teams in England.
