Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son has just sent a document to the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces/cities regarding the coordination and direction of organizing the high school graduation exam and university and vocational education admissions in 2023.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training requested localities to strengthen direction and inspection of the organization of review sessions for candidates preparing for the 2023 high school graduation exam at general education institutions in the province.

Develop plans and solutions for organizing exams and enrollment in the province to ensure that exams and enrollment are organized seriously, honestly, objectively, and safely; develop contingency plans to respond to and handle unusual situations, especially contingency plans for extreme weather, or natural disasters, epidemics, etc.

The Ministry of Education and Training requested to focus on transporting and preserving exam papers; ensuring security, order, traffic safety, and communications; providing stable electricity and water supply; and ensuring regulations on epidemic prevention, hygiene, and food safety at all locations where exam activities take place.

"Create the most favorable conditions for candidates to take the exam safely, not allowing candidates to drop out of the exam due to economic difficulties, travel conditions or being affected by the epidemic," the document of the Ministry of Education and Training stated.

The Ministry of Education and Training also requested to strengthen inspection, supervision and examination of the organization of high school graduation exams, recognition of high school graduation and enrollment in the province in accordance with the principle that all stages of the exam and enrollment must be inspected and examined.
