Fate brought the number 1 Vietnamese player to face Jeremy Bury (France) once again. Previously, in the group stage (taking place on the morning of August 11), Quyet Chien almost lost to the strong French player (tied 40-40 in the back-pa kick-off). After 16 rounds, the game was still very balanced, with the score at 25-25. But from here, Quyet Chien showed his excellent sprinting ability. In rounds 17 and 18, Quyet Chien had series 4 and 6, respectively, to increase the gap to 10 points with Bury, leading 35-25.
