It is known that most of the boats currently only fish close to shore. When the weather is calm, the larger boats will go out to sea.
According to records, after a day at sea, many fishing boats docked with tons of fresh fish.
Fisherman Le Van Trai (living in Nai Hien Dong ward, Son Tra district) said that this time he caught about 100 kg of bait fish and miscellaneous fish. "For types of fish such as bait fish and miscellaneous fish, my selling price ranges from 5,000 - 10,000 VND/kg. As for some types of fish with high value such as brown fish, silver pomfret... we will classify and sell them separately to traders. On average, I earn about 1 - 2 million VND per day," Trai added.
The fish were brought ashore by fishermen after docking.

As soon as the ships docked, traders were waiting to buy the fish for sale.
Trader Hoang Van Hung (residing in Tho Quang ward, Da Nang city) said that this trip he bought more than 100 kg of various types of fish. Small fish near the shore are often used as food for livestock and pets.
Refrigerated trucks are quickly loaded with fish and shrimp to be transported to the trading points.
According to the experience of long-time fishermen, after a storm the sea is not calm, the water flow changes, at this time the boats are likely to catch a lot of shrimp and fish, so the boats take advantage of the opportunity to fish.
In addition to fishing, many fishermen also go out to sea to dive for mussels. According to fishermen, the price of mussels ranges from 30,000 to 40,000 VND/kg.
Because it is easy to catch fish and shrimp near the shore, in the days after the storm, many older fishermen who are not strong enough to go out to sea actively pull their nets close to the shore.
