(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of April 25, the Standing Committee of Ngo Quyen District Party Committee organized the Final Round of the "Excellent Party Cell Secretary Competition" in 2024. Attending the competition were Standing Committee members: Dao Khanh Ha, Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Dao Trong Duc, Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Department.

This is a political activity in the entire District Party Committee; aiming to raise awareness and sense of responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members, especially leaders of Party committees about the position, role, functions and tasks of the Party Cell; to propagate, disseminate, and put into practice the Party's Directives, Resolutions, and State policies and laws, contributing to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 21 of the Central Party Committee; Resolution No. 02 of the District Party Committee Standing Committee.

Speaking at the opening of the contest, comrade Trinh Quang Truong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest, said that in recent years, along with the leadership and direction of socio-economic development, maintaining political security, social order and safety, building the Party and building a "clean and strong" political system, the Ngo Quyen District Party Committee has regularly paid attention to building a team of cadres and party members, especially Party cell secretaries and deputy secretaries to meet the requirements in the current period. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee emphasized that this is also an opportunity for the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to correctly assess the current situation and quality of the Party cell secretaries, thereby having solutions to consolidate, improve and improve all aspects of the team of Party cell secretaries, deputy secretaries and grassroots Party committees.

Previously, on December 28, 2023, the Organizing Committee of the Contest held the Preliminary Round for 27 candidates representing 20 grassroots Party Committees: wards, armed forces, administrative agencies, public service units in the district and selected 10 most outstanding faces to enter the Final Round.

Participating in the Final Round, the contestants will go through the Greeting and Introduction sections about themselves and the Party organization where they are active; the Party awareness test; then the 6 contestants with the highest scores out of 10 contestants will participate in the situation handling section; then the Organizing Committee will select the 3 contestants with the highest scores out of 6 contestants in the situation handling section to participate in the presentation section.

As a result, the First Prize of the Contest went to comrade Pham Thi Dien, Secretary of the Party Cell, Principal of Chu Van An Primary School, Le Loi Ward Party Committee; Second Prize went to comrades: Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Secretary of the Party Cell, Principal of Le Hong Phong Primary School, Dong Quoc Binh Ward Party Committee and Trinh Thu Huong, Secretary of the Party Cell, Principal of Da Nang Secondary School, Lac Vien Ward Party Committee; Third Prize went to comrades: Ngo Thi Diep Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Vice Principal of Kindergarten 8-3, Cau Tre Ward Party Committee; Ngo Thi Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Deputy Chief of Office of the District People's Council - People's Committee, District Government Party Committee; Do Thu Hien, Secretary of the Party Cell, Principal of Dang Giang Primary School, Dang Giang Ward Party Committee; along with 4 Encouragement Prizes and 5 Consolation Prizes.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of Ngo Quyen District Party Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to Lac Vien Ward Party Committee as the Party Committee with the most good essays; Le Loi Ward Party Committee had a candidate winning First Prize in the Contest; Lac Vien Ward Party Committee and Dong Quoc Binh Ward Party Committee had candidates winning Second Prize in the Contest./.
