On September 13 and 14, the Provincial General Hospital organized the 2024 Open Scientific Conference with the theme "Quang Tri Provincial General Hospital - 35 years of a journey".

Over the 35-year journey of construction and development, Quang Tri General Hospital has achieved many outstanding and comprehensive achievements, affirming its stature as a grade I provincial general hospital. The hospital currently has a scale of 1,145 beds and 35 departments and functional rooms with more than 841 staff, doctors, and workers.

With a modern equipment base, the hospital has deployed and mastered many techniques according to the level, including advanced, modern, specialized techniques of the central level in most specialties. Up to now, the hospital has promoted the development of high-tech services in the fields of internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, specialties, paraclinical, especially in the field of oncology to meet the needs of examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for thousands of patients every day.

Held on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Provincial General Hospital (1989 - 2024), the conference is an opportunity for doctors and medical experts inside and outside the province to exchange and learn experiences through 16 sessions with more than 100 in-depth reports of high practical value from leading doctors and experts.

This is also an opportunity for experts and doctors to learn from experience and update their specialized knowledge, especially medical advances that have been researched and applied in hospitals in recent times.
