Ms. Hieu said: With this program, guests flying at night to Ho Chi Minh City will receive free or discounted room rates for the first night, applicable to guests staying at least two nights or more.

* The program accepts registrations from July 8, so when can tourists start using the promotions, madam?

- The night flight tourism product in Ho Chi Minh City is deployed in July and August. People and tourists who have demand will register and use the service.

During this time, people and tourists come to the city on Vietnam Airlines night flights before 6am and after 9pm.

The program applies to flights from Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc to Ho Chi Minh City. Customers hold that ticket code to check-in and receive the program's incentives.

* What is the basis for the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and other units to decide to implement this program?

- The increase in night flights by airlines is based on actual demand to meet the increased travel needs of people and tourists during the peak summer season, especially individual groups, families and conference guests.

Airlines have optimized their fleet of aircraft and service personnel, thereby contributing to lowering airfares to reasonable prices, increasing more attractive options for tourists nationwide during the peak summer season of 2024. Thereby contributing to stimulating domestic tourism to attract more tourists to Ho Chi Minh City.

With the hotel's conditions, when booking a room, it is necessary to provide flight booking information that meets the "night flight" conditions of Vietnam Airlines and when checking in, guests need to provide the corresponding boarding pass to the receptionist when checking in. Therefore, guests' check-in is very convenient, without having to wait much time.

* Why is a two-night stay required to enjoy the benefits, madam?

- Based on your needs, visitors can contact and book rooms directly at the accommodation facilities. Each facility will have different preferential policies and applicable conditions. However, there will be some mandatory conditions such as visitors must stay at the hotel for two nights or more.

The list of participating accommodations is posted on the website of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and Vietnam Airlines. This is phase one, we will work with more hotels in the coming time. The room occupancy rate in the city during the three summer months does not exceed 70%, so the probability of guests booking a room under this program and not having a room is very low.
