In 2024, the total cocoon output of the district will be 420 tons, with the selling price of cocoons ranging from 185,000 - 195,000 VND/kg. Many households growing mulberry, raising silkworms, and selling cocoons have earned a profit of 70 - 80 million VND/year in the first two years, and by the third year they can earn a profit of 200 - 300 million VND/year. At this time, silkworm cocoons are purchased by cooperatives and small traders at a stable price of 180,000 - 200,000 VND/kg.

The district strives to plant an additional 600 hectares of mulberry, concentrated in the above 4 communes, bringing the total mulberry area of ​​the district to more than 1,100 hectares.
