Quang Ninh is a locality with a particularly important position in both economy and national defense. According to Colonel Khuc Thanh Du, Commander of the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command, the unit has advised the Provincial Party Committee to issue Resolution No. 03-NQ/TU on local defense and military , deploying key projects such as provincial combat bases, district-level logistics-technical bases, large-scale training grounds, permanent border militia posts... creating a synchronous, extensive and effective defense posture. With the timely, accurate and correct advice of the military agency, in the 2020-2025 term, Quang Ninh province has completed the construction of provincial combat bases...

In Hung Yen, investment in defense works has also been given a very systematic and large-scale attention. The Provincial Military Command has advised on allocating more than 256 billion VND to build combat works, adding important projects worth hundreds of billions of VND to the public investment portfolio for the 2021-2025 period, contributing to building a comprehensive defense posture, linked with socio -economic development.

Cadres, employees, and young intellectual volunteers from Forestry Farm 156 (Economic-Defense Group 327) participated in helping people in Trinh Tuong residential area pour concrete on the road to the village.

Not stopping at campaign and strategic level staff, key units such as Division 395 also promote their role as mobile forces, ready for combat, regularly practice, supplement plans and combat documents; closely coordinate with localities to organize training, defense drills, riot prevention, and disaster response.

Another bright spot is the 327th Economic-Defense Group. The unit is stationed in the land and sea border area with nearly 119km of land border, more than 13km of sea route, rugged terrain, and people's lives are still difficult. With that characteristic, officers and soldiers of the 327th Economic-Defense Group advise and take the initiative in building a national defense posture suitable for the area, while directly carrying out socio-economic development tasks, ensuring social security, contributing to maintaining political stability, order, and social safety from the grassroots level.

The highlight in the work of building the defense posture of Military Region 3 is the good staff work and direction; the training and exercises are close to the actual combat situation, especially in new situations. Exercises such as PT-23, civil defense exercises, forest fire and flood response exercises... have improved the command and coordination capacity between forces, promptly handling emergency situations.

According to Major General Nguyen Duc Hung, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 3, to achieve the above results, the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units in the Military Region have always been proactive in advising local Party Committees and authorities and organizing implementation, clearly defining the leadership and direction targets, completion time and responsibilities of each agency, unit and individual in building the potential of the KVPT. In particular, local military agencies have always played a proactive role in advising and coordinating to implement the program and plan to build the KVPT on schedule and according to regulations.

Promoting the strength of the entire political system

Thoroughly grasping the viewpoint that "each step of economic development is a step of strengthening national defense and security", localities in the Military Region have actively integrated national defense goals into local development planning, closely combining socio-economic development and strengthening national defense and security.

In Ha Long City, the investment of more than 135 billion VND in national defense, the construction of logistics-technical bases, and island militia platoons clearly shows that national defense is substantially integrated into the modern urban development program. At the Military Command of Cua Ong Coal Selection Company, due to the fact that the Board's officers are all core labor forces in the departments, many problems have arisen, especially in terms of time and number of personnel participating in training. To solve this problem, the Company has chosen the appropriate time for training, arranged appropriate rotational training units; and linked the results of each officer and soldier's military and defense tasks to the emulation achievements of the workshop. Thanks to that, the unit has been awarded the title of Determined to Win Unit by the Military Region for many consecutive years, and is one of the leading units in the province in the emulation movement "good production, high combat readiness".

The Hung Yen Provincial Military Command has always done a good job of propagating and educating the people about national defense and security; always accompanied the locality in building new rural areas, consolidating the grassroots political system, developing party members in the militia and reserve forces. Division 395 has also always upheld the motto "helping people is an order from the heart", contributing to strengthening the relationship between the army and the people, building an increasingly solid "people's heart position".

According to the leader of Military Region 3, thanks to the synchronous coordination between forces, between defense and economy , the Military Region's defense posture is firmly built from the base, ready to respond to all situations, creating a solid support for the posture to protect the Fatherland early and from afar.
