Mrs. Nhung lives alone in a small, narrow room on the second floor. For many years, Mrs. Nhung has been sick and ill, suffering from various bone and joint diseases, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

Three years ago, Ms. Nhung suffered a stroke. Although she was lucky to survive, the illness left her with a crooked mouth, trembling limbs, and difficulty walking and communicating with others. Her life now depends on selling small items near her house such as: bottled water, candy, bamboo toothpicks, paper fans... The small amount of money she earns each day is not enough to support herself because the cost of medicine is very expensive.
