Apple has moved one step closer to releasing iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 to users with the release of beta 4. However, this test version seems to focus only on fixing outstanding bugs on iPhone and iPad.

Previously, beta 1 introduced more than 50 new features and changes. These included changes to the CarPlay design, Apple Intelligence Priority Notifications, a new Apple News+ Food recipe service, mood-based music shortcuts in Control Center, and more.

The beta 2 update also introduced support for Visual Intelligence on the iPhone 15 Pro. The Apple Intelligence-branded visual search feature can now be activated via the Control Action button or Siri shortcut on the iPhone 16 starting with iOS 18.4. Additionally, the update also adds new emoji characters.

Apple Intelligence is also being expanded to support more languages ​​such as: French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified) and localized English for Singapore as well as India.
