1,800 students join the honorary red flag team

On July 28, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong chaired a meeting with relevant units to ensure the quality of organizing military parades, mass marches, and formations within the framework of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

According to the plan, 1,800 students are expected to join the honorary red flag team. Of which, Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports mobilized 1,200 students, Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports contributed 600 students. The teams will be a solemn highlight, demonstrating the heroic spirit of the ceremony.

At the meeting, representatives of schools and units presented detailed plans for organization, from selecting participants, training, to uniforms, food and accommodation. Principal of Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports Nguyen Van Phuc said that the school has established a steering committee, a professional committee and a service team, and has begun training for students.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong emphasized: “This is an important political task. Units must make specific plans, ensuring that the participating forces have enough health, discipline and sense of responsibility to contribute to the overall success of the ceremony.”
