The Department of Domestic Market Management and Development (Ministry of Industry and Trade) has just sent an official dispatch to key petroleum traders and petroleum distributors on ensuring the supply of petroleum during the holidays celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (April 30 - May 1, 2025).
In an official dispatch sent to petroleum traders and petroleum distributors regarding ensuring the supply of petroleum that is likely to increase during the April 30-May 1 holiday, the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development requested that petroleum traders and petroleum distributors focus resources to ensure adequate supply of petroleum in each locality, and absolutely not to interrupt the supply of petroleum in the business system from the main traders, distributors to retail enterprises.
"In all situations, it is necessary to provide enough gasoline for retail stores in the enterprise's distribution system. Arrange enough human resources, organize on-call or overtime to maintain regular and continuous sales activities for the market" - the official dispatch of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development emphasized.
Previously, on April 24, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided to increase gasoline and oil prices from 490-780 VND/liter from 3:00 p.m.
Compared to the previous week's adjustment, the price of RON 95 gasoline (a popular type on the market) was adjusted up by VND780/liter, the retail price was VND19,630/liter. Similarly, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by VND740/liter, the retail price was VND19,230/liter. The price of diesel increased by VND490/liter, the retail price was VND17,520/liter. Kerosene and fuel oil have new prices of VND17,710 and VND16,520, respectively.
