Yamaha has officially introduced the 2025 version of two hybrid scooter models, the Yamaha Fascino and RayZR 125, in the Indian market. This is part of the strategy to expand the hybrid product line that Yamaha has been focusing on developing in recent years, especially in the scooter segment. In this new version, both Fascino 125 and RayZR 125 are equipped with a single-cylinder, 125cc engine, with a maximum capacity of 8.04 horsepower and maximum torque of 10.3 Nm.
Notably, the car's hybrid engine with integrated electric motor has been upgraded with the Enhanced Power Assist feature. This feature helps the car accelerate better thanks to increased torque. The new features are especially useful in situations that require traction, such as when starting from a standstill or climbing a hill. At the same time, hybrid technology also helps the vehicle save more fuel during operation. In addition to engine upgrades, Yamaha also focuses on improving user convenience. Both models have many valuable features such as a 21-liter under-seat storage compartment, LED daytime running lights, and a smooth starting system... The car has an automatic engine shut-off function when stopping, and a smart generator (SMG). In addition, the car is also equipped with a remote vehicle location feature (answer back), helping users easily locate the car in the parking lot.
A special highlight in this upgrade is that Yamaha has equipped a completely new TFT screen for the highest-end version of the Fascino 125. This is the first time Yamaha's scooter line in India has this type of display screen. The TFT display is not only aesthetically modern, but also supports Bluetooth connectivity to your phone via the Y-Connect app. This application brings many benefits to users such as tracking vehicle information, receiving phone notifications and especially the direct navigation feature right on the vehicle screen.
In addition, Yamaha also brings many new color options for both Fascino and RayZR, helping to increase the choice to suit the user's personal style. In terms of price, the 2025 Yamaha RayZR 125 Hybrid starts at 79,340 rupees (approximately 24 million VND). Meanwhile, the Yamaha Fascino 125 starts at 80,750 rupees (approximately 24.5 million VND). With notable upgrades in both technology and design, these two models promise to continue to be attractive choices in the urban scooter segment in India.
