Party's will and people's heart in harmony before the congress

The Party Congresses of communes, wards and special zones for the 2025-2030 term take place in the context that the entire Party, people and army are promoting the revolution of streamlining the organizational apparatus, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations; towards a new era of development of the country.

Tan Chau Ward Party Secretary Nguyen Minh Hung affirmed: “The Congress is not only an opportunity to perfect the leadership apparatus at the grassroots level, but also a time to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, party members and people, in order to orient the development of the locality in the coming term. We respect and appreciate all opinions contributing to the development of the locality.”

From personnel screening, checking the political standards of party members running for the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee, to thematic discussions, giving opinions on the draft documents of the Tan Chau Ward Party Congress this time, all are considered key tasks. The Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee has established sub-committees, clearly assigning tasks to ensure progress and proper implementation of instructions from superiors. The preparation work is also spread to each hamlet, village party cell and departments and branches. The schedule of the conference to collect opinions is publicly announced so that cadres and party members can easily attend.

In Chau Phong commune - where many Cham people live, Party Secretary Nguyen Thanh Lam said that the preparation work was carried out in accordance with regulations, ensuring safety, efficiency and economy. According to the plan, the first Congress of Chau Phong commune Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 will take place on August 20 and 21, 2025.

Previously, the subordinate Party cells had completed the congress and organized discussions and comments on the draft documents of the congresses of the upper-level Party Committees and the 14th National Party Congress. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam affirmed: "We always attach importance to collecting opinions from cadres, Party members and the People so that the documents are closely related to reality, honestly reflecting the aspirations of the people, and at the same time enhancing the responsibility of each cadre and Party member."

Participating in the conference to give comments on the draft documents of the Chau Phong Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, many cadres, party members and people said that when the congress documents come from reality and have high consensus from the people, after the congress, the implementation of the resolution into life will achieve more positive results.

Many opinions suggested that the commune should continue to promote its strengths, promote the development of high-tech agricultural economy , especially in the production of high-quality rice. At the same time, develop Cham village community tourism associated with traditional industries and occupations.

People hope that the commune government will continue to invest in and upgrade infrastructure, transportation and irrigation systems to meet the production and living needs of the people; pay attention to preserving and promoting national cultural identity, solidarity and community spirit.

Along with that, focus on vocational training, job creation for rural workers; strengthen Party building work, improve leadership capacity, fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations and cadres and Party members; promote the exemplary role of leaders...

The communes of Vinh Xuong, Tan An, and Long Phu have also established subcommittees to serve the congress. People in the communes actively contributed to the draft documents of the congress. Ms. Tran Thi Lai, a farmer in Tan An commune, said: “I agree with the assessment in the draft political report that agriculture is still the “pillar” in local economic development. After the administrative boundary merger, the commune has a larger development space and stronger economic potential, so it is necessary to propose solutions to effectively exploit those advantages and potentials, helping the locality develop. I hope that at this congress, the above-mentioned issue will be analyzed and opinions and contributions from cadres and party members will be collected so that after the congress, we can soon put the resolution into practice.”

Thorough and democratic preparation and always listening to opinions from the grassroots will contribute significantly to the success of the Party Congresses in the upstream communes of the Tien River, creating a solid foundation for the successful implementation of development goals in the 2025-2030 term.
