The inspection and struggle with related subjects determined that Nam Thai Son Natural Stone Processing Company Limited had violated 5 acts during the mineral exploitation process, including: Improperly or incompletely implementing one of the contents of the decision approving the results of the environmental impact assessment report appraisal as prescribed. Not collecting and storing hazardous waste as prescribed. Having documents proving that the markers had been placed at the corner points of the area permitted for mineral exploitation but the boundary markers in the mining area were lost. With the above acts, Pursuant to the provisions of Decree No. 45/2022/ND-CP dated July 7, 2022 of the Government on administrative sanctions for violations in the field of environmental protection and Decree No. 36/2020/ND-CP dated March 24, 2020 of the Government on administrative sanctions for violations in the field of water resources and minerals, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police advised the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to issue a decision to sanction Nam Thai Son Natural Stone Processing Company Limited with a total amount of 1 billion 117 million VND.
