Dan Tri Newspaper hands over social security projects and supports the construction of charity houses in Lao Cai

The delegation of Dan Tri Newspaper was led by Comrade Pham Tuan Anh, Party Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri Newspaper.

Attending from the local side were comrades: Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vi Lam Son, former member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, former Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of a number of departments and branches; leaders of Phuc Khanh commune and a large number of people.

Faced with the heavy human and property losses caused by storm No. 3 in 2024 in Lang Nu village, in June 2025, Dan Tri Newspaper organized the groundbreaking ceremony for the Lang Nu - Tri Trong road, with a total investment of more than 1 billion VND, of which Dan Tri Newspaper readers supported over 837 million VND.

With a sense of urgency, the project was completed at the end of June 2025, promptly put into use before the flood season; opening up favorable conditions for people in the two villages and neighboring areas to travel easily, trade more conveniently and bring confidence and hope to local people after natural disasters.

At the ceremony, Dan Tri Newspaper donated 360 million VND from the donation fund at the 20th Anniversary of Dan Tri Electronic Newspaper (July 15, 2005 - July 15, 2025) to support the construction of 6 charity houses for extremely disadvantaged households in Phuc Khanh Commune. This is practical support, helping people have a solid home, feel secure in their work and production, and stabilize their lives.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Pham Tuan Anh, Party Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri Newspaper emphasized: As a press agency, the unit not only carries out the task of information and propaganda but also always determines its social responsibility. These contributions are the sentiments of the Dan Tri Newspaper collective and readers nationwide, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and the tradition of solidarity, support and sharing to send to the people of Lang Nu village in particular and Phuc Khanh commune in general.

The Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri Newspaper hopes that the new road and the charity houses will become a driving force for people in disaster areas to have more faith and determination to overcome difficulties, gradually stabilize their lives and contribute to building a more prosperous homeland.
