At the checkpoints, Chairman of Van Dinh Commune People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Diep requested the functional forces to uphold their sense of responsibility, proactively deploy preventive measures early, and absolutely not be passive or make any mistakes in preparation, even the smallest ones.

At Ngo Xa pumping station and Dyke Management Unit No. 12, the commune leaders visited and encouraged the staff, and requested the units to arrange staff on duty 24/7, ready to handle any storm situations that may arise, ensuring safety for the downstream area and residential areas near the dike area and irrigation works.

In parallel with the inspection work, the People's Committee of Van Dinh commune strengthened propaganda work, advised people to proactively reinforce roofs, check electrical systems, trim trees, and handle advertising signs at risk of falling. The Youth Union, Veterans Association, Women's Union, etc. actively supported people in storm prevention and control and coordinated with on-site forces.

The Commune People's Committee directed residential groups and hamlets to proactively prepare evacuation plans when necessary; prepare sufficient human resources, materials, and means to be ready to respond in emergency situations. In particular, militia forces and grassroots disaster prevention and control teams are assigned to be on duty 24/7, closely following vulnerable points, promptly reporting unusual developments. The commune leaders determined that the safety of people's lives and property is the top priority. Therefore, preparations must be carried out seriously, avoiding surprises and passivity, minimizing damage caused by natural disasters...
