Ngo May commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of 03 communes: Cat Chanh, Cat Thang and Cat Hung.

In the 2020-2025 term, with the spirit of solidarity and continuous efforts, the Party Committee and the People of the commune have achieved important results, most of the main targets have been achieved and exceeded compared to the Resolution of the Congress. The economy continues to grow, the appearance of the countryside has clearly changed, the annual budget revenue has met and exceeded the target.

National defense - security has been maintained, politics - society have been stable. Party building work has been focused on, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of party organizations have been improved, the political system's activities have been more effective; the great national unity bloc has been consolidated, people's trust in the Party and the government has continued to be strengthened.

Speaking at the Congress, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Finance Tran Cang requested the Party Executive Committee and the Party Standing Committee of Ngo May commune to set out directions for economic development, shifting the structure of crops and livestock, as well as production methods and product linkage methods so that the commune's products achieve high value, limiting the situation of good harvest but low prices. Continue to build, consolidate and perfect solidarity within the Party, among the people; between the Party and the people; between the government and the people; between the people of the 3 communes when merging, considering this an important factor, an influencing factor, and an endogenous driving force for the commune's development.

Quickly complete a streamlined government apparatus that operates effectively, efficiently, and is close to the people, meeting the expectations of the people, making an important contribution to the overall development of the province. Timely overcome and resolve initial difficulties when operating the new model. Continue to review and promptly purchase equipment and necessary initial working means for specialized agencies and the Public Administration Service Center; ensure the necessary initial facilities and materials for operating the grassroots government in the 2-level local government model. Fully and promptly deploy socio-economic development tasks in 2025 and the 2026-2030 period. Take over and quickly implement public investment projects in 2025; national target programs according to the general policy of disbursing 100% of the public investment capital plan in 2025 and the following years.

The Congress announced the decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Inspection Committee, Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, the Commune Party Executive Committee consists of 25 comrades; the Commune Party Standing Committee consists of 11 comrades.
