Reporting at the meeting, Mr. Pham Khac To, Director of the Center for Management and Support of Tourists in Vung Tau City, said that from April 30 to May 2, the city welcomed about 233,000 people swimming in the sea.

Back Beach, Vung Tau City is crowded with visitors on the occasion of April 30th holiday.

The Center has assigned 100% of its forces to be on duty at tourist sites and public beaches, ensuring safety for residents and visitors. At the same time, it coordinates with the provincial police and wards to ensure security and order, environmental sanitation, manage service business activities and provide information support for tourists.

During the past two days of the holiday, the rescue team of the Vung Tau City Tourist Management and Support Center rescued and brought a drowning beachgoer safely to shore. At the same time, they assisted in searching for and handing over to the families of 11 lost children.

Wards and units have also mobilized young people, women, veterans, civil servants... to clean up the environment; propagate and remind people and tourists not to gather to eat and drink in parks and streets; and handle the situation of street vending in public places...

Mr. Phan Trong Hanh, Head of the Department of Culture, Science and Information of Vung Tau City, said that during the past two holidays, the city's hotline received 28 calls from tourists but there were no cases of "overcharging".
