The rankings were published by Time Uot based on the reviews of millions of tourists who have visited these destinations.

According to the rankings, Hoi An ranked 44th and was described by Time Uot as a heritage site located on the central coast of Vietnam, characterized by rows of yellow houses, shimmering with lantern lights at night.

Time Uot also rated the pace of life in Hoi An as quite slow, where visitors can comfortably immerse themselves in the friendly community to experience many rustic but very interesting experiences.

In the list of 44 most beautiful destinations in the world, there is another destination of Vietnam, Ha Giang (ranked 10th). Including the whole Asia region, there are only 12 destinations on this list in some countries such as: China, India, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Uzbekistan...
