Leaders of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Dong Nai province and Vietjet performed the groundbreaking ceremony for Vietjet's hangar project No. 3 and No. 4 at Long Thanh International Airport.
This is one of 80 typical works and projects started and inaugurated to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025, and at the same time marks an important development step of Vietjet and the Vietnamese aviation industry.
With a total investment of nearly 100 million USD (more than 1,700 billion VND), the project includes hangars 3 and 4 in Long Thanh, capable of maintaining 10 aircraft at the same time with synchronous technical infrastructure, meeting international standards.
The Aircraft Maintenance Technical Center project at Long Thanh International Airport has a total investment of nearly 100 million USD.
The center not only serves the maintenance needs of Vietjet's growing fleet, but also aims to provide technical services to domestic and international airlines, contributing to improving the capacity of the aviation industry, while meeting the operational requirements of Long Thanh International Airport, the most modern in Vietnam.
The groundbreaking ceremony of the Aircraft Maintenance Technical Center in Long Thanh demonstrates Vietjet's strategic vision and commitment to sustainable and long-term investment, affirming the pioneering role of private enterprises in developing aviation technical infrastructure, and actively contributing to the country's development in the integration period.
