In the individual competition, all participating Vietnamese students won prizes, including 3 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal, 3 Bronze Medals and 1 Encouragement Prize.

The 3 Gold Medals went to Nguyen Viet Trung Nhan (grade 10, High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences - VNU); Nguyen Huu Tuan (grade 11, High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences - VNU) and Nguyen Phu Nhan (grade 11, Le Quy Don High School for Gifted Students, Da Nang City).

1 Silver Medal belongs to Nguyen Nhat Minh (grade 10, High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences - VNU).

The 3 Bronze Medals went to Nguyen Khac Trung Kien (grade 12, Hanoi National University of Education High School); Bui Dam Quan (grade 12, Hanoi National University of Education High School) and Hoang Cong Bao Long (grade 11, Le Quy Don High School, Da Nang City).

Student Bui Quang Nguyen (grade 12, High School for Gifted Students in Natural Sciences - VNU) won the Encouragement prize.

In the team competition, Vietnam team 2 (including students: Nguyen Khac Trung Kien, Hoang Cong Bao Long, Nguyen Phu Nhan and Bui Dam Quan) achieved 4th place with 198.4 points - behind the teams of Poland, Russia and Hungary.

With this result, the Vietnamese team is among the top 4 countries and territories with the highest achievements at the 2025 International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad, continuing to affirm the position of Vietnamese education in the international intellectual arena. This is also a testament to the right direction in the work of discovering, selecting and nurturing excellent students of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The 2025 International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad will be held in Beijing, China from August 2 to August 8, with the official participation of 300 contestants from 78 teams from 60 countries and territories. The Vietnamese national team has 8 students participating in this competition.
