Application of modern EOB-MRI technology in early diagnosis of liver cancer

DNO - Nearly 200 doctors specializing in Diagnostic Imaging, General Surgery, Gastroenterology - Hepatobiliary and Oncology, along with imaging technicians working in Da Nang and neighboring areas, participated in the workshop "Breakthrough in imaging diagnosis of liver tumors - the important role of EOB-MRI" organized by Thien Nhan Hospital in collaboration with the Da Nang City Medical Association and Bayer Vietnam Company Limited in Da Nang on the afternoon of August 8.

The workshop focused on clarifying the prominent role of MRI using liver-bile specific contrast agents (EOB-MRI) in early detection of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), metastasis assessment, liver transplantation support and differentiation of benign lesions such as FNH with Adenoma, hemangioma...

According to experts from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, the application of EOB-MRI not only increases diagnostic accuracy but also helps save treatment costs and improve prognosis for patients.

On the same day, Thien Nhan Hospital organized an intensive practical training session on EOB-MRI imaging and analysis techniques to help Thien Nhan's team of technicians master the process of implementing modern techniques, improve their skills, thereby optimizing diagnostic efficiency and clinical support.
