In January, the socio-economic situation remained stable and developed. Agriculture, forestry and fishery increased quite well; the weather was favorable, the amount of water in reservoirs ensured enough supply for people's daily life and production in the 2023-2024 winter-spring crop. The processing and manufacturing industry grew quite well. Trade and service activities were bustling; goods prices were stabilized, meeting people's shopping needs during Tet; management of tourism service activities was strengthened, ensuring security, tourism environment and safety for tourists during holidays and Tet; the number of tourists to the province increased quite well. The fields of natural resources and environment, investment attraction, disbursement of public investment capital, budget revenue and expenditure... were given attention. Social security policies, Tet care for people, especially policy families, the poor, workers in difficult circumstances, armed forces... were implemented thoughtfully and promptly. The organization and preparation of activities to celebrate the Party, celebrate Spring and welcome the Lunar New Year 2024 have been stepped up. Disease prevention and control work, and protection of people's health have been strengthened; food hygiene and safety have been ensured. Security, politics, and social order and safety have been maintained.

Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches and localities to promote a sense of responsibility, be proactive and make efforts to perform well the tasks of February. In particular, special attention should be paid to taking care of people's lives and spirits, ensuring security and order, social safety, traffic safety and fire safety so that people can celebrate Tet safely, healthily and happily. Localities must ensure funding, carefully review, provide correct, sufficient and timely policies for the subjects, and not miss any cases.
