National U21 2025: Quang Hai's son scores, SLNA and Da Nang win all 3 points

After the opening ceremony took place on the afternoon of July 19, at Ba Ria Stadium (HCMC), the young team from Nghe An actively attacked, creating great pressure. After many missed opportunities, in the 62nd minute, Duy Hao headed the opening score for U21 SLNA.

The surprise happened just 10 minutes later, Nguyen Le Quang Khoi, son of former player Quang Hai, only 16 years old, took advantage of a quick counterattack to equalize 1-1 for the home team. This is also the player who was just selected to train in Brazil for 3 years.

However, the joy of U21 HCMC did not last long. In the 81st minute, Quang Vinh scored after a close-range rebound, sealing a 2-1 victory for SLNA.

In the remaining match of the group, U21 Da Nang defeated PVF-CAND 1-0 thanks to Thanh Nhan's late goal in the 87th minute. At the end of the first round, SLNA andSHB Da Nang shared the top two positions in group A with 3 points.

The 2025 National U21 Finals will take place from July 19 to 31 at three stadiums: Ba Ria, Long Tam and Tan Hung (HCMC). 12 participating teams will be divided into 3 groups, playing a round robin to select the strongest teams to enter the quarterfinals.
