DO PROPAGANDA WORK WELL, LINKED TO SOCIAL SECURITY ACTIVITIES

In September 2023, press agencies strictly followed the direction and propaganda orientation of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, state management of the Department of Information and Communications; fully updated information on current affairs, politics, visits and working activities in Nghe An by leaders of ministries, departments and branches; foreign and domestic activities of provincial leaders.

In particular, press agencies will clearly inform and propagate the Conference to disseminate and implement Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW, dated July 18, 2023 of the Politburo; activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of Vinh city, 235 years of Phuong Hoang Trung Do;...

The press agencies have reported and promoted the province's drastic socio-economic management and direction; at the same time, reflected the landslide situation, the risk of losing production land, and the insecurity of people in landslide areas; propagated, warned, and raised people's awareness to reduce damage during the rainy and stormy season; emphasized the efforts of localities and functional units in implementing measures to prevent and combat natural disasters.

In addition, some issues such as: Pollution caused by mineral exploitation; parking problems at supermarket centers; violations in land management; recurring overloaded vehicles; some shortcomings in administrative management at the grassroots level... were reported and reflected by the press.

In September 2023, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department issued a directive to handle 4 outstanding press issues and by October 5, it had received a report on the handling results. The Department of Information and Communications received 2 documents from the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee directing the handling of 2 issues reported by the press; at the same time, issued 1 document requesting the Department of Transport to inspect and handle 1 issue raised by the press.

In addition, the Department of Information and Communications has received 5 documents from units including: Vinh City People's Committee, Dien Chau District People's Committee, Yen Thanh District People's Committee, Department of Natural Resources and Environment on the process of proactively handling the issue raised by the newspaper.

In September 2023, press agencies in the province supported, called for support, and contributed to help people in difficult circumstances in the province with a total amount of more than 1 billion VND.

ACCOMPANYING NGHE AN IN ATTRACTING INVESTMENT

Concluding the conference, comrade Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee provided more information on the development of the Regulation on "Speaking, providing information to the press and handling information posted and broadcast in the press, information reflected on social networks of State administrative agencies in Nghe An province", in order to best serve and support journalists and reporters in their work; and is currently in the drafting process, thereby hoping to continue to receive comments from press agencies and journalists for completion.

The Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the success of the congress of journalist associations. Journalists and press agencies also had many contents reflecting and providing in-depth information on political events, economic and social development, mechanisms and policies of the province; clearly demonstrating the role and responsibility in social security work.

In the coming time, comrade Pham Ngoc Canh suggested that press agencies continue to pay attention, promote information and propaganda, continue to have in-depth articles, thoroughly analyze the economic and social development situation of the province, especially the results of investment attraction, the investment and business environment of the province to spread the image of Nghe An to domestic and foreign investors.

The Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee also requested press agencies and journalists in the province to focus on disseminating the implementation of the contents of Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW, dated July 18, 2023 of the Politburo, in which, paying special attention to specific development targets and 9 main tasks and solutions to bring Nghe An to develop quickly, sustainably and comprehensively.

Along with that, in October 2023, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications, and the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association requested press agencies to continue promoting the dissemination of the 6th Resolution (term XIII); major events and holidays.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communications, and the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association requested press agencies to step up information and propaganda on positive and clear results in attracting investment, culture, society; services, tourism; administrative reform, creating favorable conditions for production and business; doing well in social security work associated with supporting the construction of houses for the poor.

Continue to pay attention to information, reflect the direction and management of provincial leaders in promoting disbursement of public investment capital, increasing budget collection, and drastically reforming administration, in order to remove current difficulties and obstacles, contributing to accelerating the growth rate of the province.
