Mr. Chau Khac Phung

Mr. Chau Khac Phung, Secretary of Lai The 2 Residential Group Party Cell, delegate of Phu Thuong Ward People's Council (Hue City): There will be more decisions and opportunities.

After nearly 30 years of continuous efforts by many generations of leaders, Thua Thien Hue province has become a centrally-governed city. This event is not only an important turning point for the province to "take off", but also an honor, pride and excitement for many cadres, party members and people of all walks of life in the province.

This is a great opportunity for the province to develop further in the coming time. It is even more exciting when many investors come to the city directly under the Central Government, bringing with them many job opportunities for local workers. This means that people's lives are constantly improving and, importantly, social security is increasingly stable.

Becoming a centrally-governed city, I believe that Thua Thien Hue will have more decisions and new opportunities to be worthy of its position and have many policies and strategies that are in line with the people's wishes, serving the people, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

As a party member and a delegate of the ward People's Council, my responsibility as well as that of every child of Hue is to always strive to build and preserve what the province has and is having, and to further develop Hue in the future through specific and practical actions.

In the immediate future, focus on promoting propaganda among cadres, party members, and people about the goals, targets, and tasks when the province becomes a centrally-run city. Thereby, continue to arouse pride and determination in each cadre, party member, and person to be worthy of the title of Hue City directly under the Central Government; build a spirit of solidarity, joint efforts, and consensus with a common goal for the city's development; contribute to building an increasingly clean and strong Party organization and political system to meet the requirements of new tasks.

Mr. Tran Minh Duc

Mr. Tran Minh Duc, Vice President of the Business Association, Director of Hong Duc Joint Stock Company: Changing mindset, welcoming new opportunities

Hue enterprises are facing great opportunities when Hue becomes a centrally-governed city. This is a good opportunity for enterprises to develop sustainably and affirm their position, but it is also a big challenge forcing enterprises to innovate to be worthy.

Hue will receive more attention from the Government, central ministries and branches, domestic and foreign investment resources. This is a golden time to improve infrastructure, build a dynamic and modern business environment. Local enterprises will have more opportunities to access capital, technology and experience from major partners, creating the motivation to "reach out to the big sea".

However, in the context that most Hue enterprises are small and micro, with modest scale, limited resources, and low competitiveness, it requires the Hue business community to make more efforts, constantly innovate technology, change business methods... to meet the increasing demands of the market. In addition, when becoming a centrally-run city, Hue will be an attractive destination for many investors and large enterprises. That may create competitive pressure on market share, product quality, and services for local enterprises, so local enterprises must take firm and smart steps to affirm their brands.

To do that, Hue enterprises need to change their thinking and actions, from improving the quality of products and services to enhancing cooperation and technological innovation. All are aimed at preserving traditional values, but still developing quickly and sustainably. This is also the time when the government needs to better demonstrate its leading role, creating conditions for enterprises to develop. The government's support policies need to be specific, focusing on removing difficulties in administrative procedures, reducing informal costs; financial and land mechanisms need to be implemented flexibly and transparently. At the same time, regularly develop training programs to improve management capacity, promote innovation; build links between local enterprises and large investors to promote local enterprise development.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang, Deputy Head of the Provincial Youth Union's Propaganda Department: Unite and join hands to develop our homeland.

Hearing the news that the National Assembly passed the Project to establish Hue City under the Central Government, as a young person born, raised, studying and working in this land, I feel very proud. This is a worthy result for the efforts and strong aspirations of the Party Committee, the government and each citizen of Hue; it is the expectation of the entire political system, of generations of leaders through the periods.

With the belief that with the position of a city directly under the Central Government, Hue will have more advantages in attracting large investors with strong potential to research investment, develop production and business activities... From there, creating favorable conditions for young people to have the opportunity to promote and affirm their pioneering role, connect, proactively propose startup solutions; continue to promote existing strengths and join hands and unite with the entire political system to build the homeland to develop more and more. This will be an opportunity to further promote the cultural values of the ancient capital, which is both modern and ancient and plays the role of a nucleus of spreading urbanization, connecting with satellite cities.

In the process of building Thua Thien Hue into a centrally-governed city, the important role of union members, association members and young people in the whole province is indispensable. I myself believe that in the coming time, young people need to unite and innovate more; at the same time, promote intelligence and creativity in all areas of social life.
