Immediately after the U.23 Vietnam team defeated U.23 Indonesia to win the U.23 Southeast Asian Championship, head of the delegation Tran Anh Tu could not hide his emotions when giving sincere compliments to the players and coaching staff.

He called this a victory of maturity, bravery and national pride. "Before the first match, I told the players that our mission at the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 tournament was very difficult.
