On the morning of December 27, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology held a ceremony to honor and appoint 14 professors and associate professors recognized by the State Council of Professors as meeting the standards for the title of professor and associate professor in 2024.
Among the 14 cadres and lecturers of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology recognized as professors and associate professors in 2024, there are 2 professors, including Rector Mai Thanh Phong and Professor Truong Tich Thien, Department of Mechanical Engineering - Faculty of Applied Science.

In November 2024, the State Council of Professors announced 600 candidates meeting the standards for the titles of professor and associate professor.
