Tuition fees increase according to announced schedule

On the evening of March 27, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law announced the tuition fees applicable to the school's training levels from the 2023-2024 school year.

The school adjusts the tuition fee level corresponding to the level of financial autonomy that the school has previously approved and the expected tuition fee level. from school year 2024 - 2025 to school year 2026 - 2027.

According to MSc. Le Van Hien, in charge of the school's training department, in order to share the difficulties with society due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, and following the direction of the Government, the school postponed the application of new tuition fees and did not increase tuition fees for 3 consecutive years from the 2020-2021 school year to the 2022-2023 school year.

"In the first semester of the 2023-2024 school year, the school will temporarily collect a portion of the tuition fee according to the old tuition fee. With the increase in tuition fees, in the second semester, students will have to pay the remaining amount according to the new tuition fee.

The tuition fee has just been adjusted to increase according to the roadmap that the school has announced in the annual enrollment plan, and at the same time, it is widely informed to parents and candidates before registering for admission to the school," Mr. Hien added.

Tuition this school year ranges from 31.25 to 165 million VND

Tuition fees applied to training levels of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law from this school year will be adjusted and Estimated tuition fee from the 2024-2025 school year to the 2026-2027 school year specifically as follows :

For full-time tuition for first degree:

For regular tuition fees for the 2nd degree program: will be 1.17 times the regular tuition fees for the 1st degree program. Tuition fees for part-time classes: equal to the tuition fees for regular classes (1st and 2nd degrees).

Tuition fee for master's program: 1.2 times the regular tuition fee. Tuition fee for doctoral program: 1.5 times the regular tuition fee.

According to the school, along with implementing the new tuition fee regulations, the school has developed a plan to develop the staff and quality of lecturers, attract talents, improve facilities, and care for students by setting aside tuition revenue to establish scholarship funds and support students (up to nearly 28 billion VND/year); increase the fund for developing scientific and technological activities of lecturers and students to 20 billion VND/year.

In addition, the school provides financial compensation to implement the policy of exempting and reducing tuition fees for policy beneficiaries and students with difficult circumstances.

Maintain flexibility in tuition payment time (extend payment time), extend tuition payment time for students facing difficulties.

The school also calls for resources from businesses and alumni to supplement the student support fund to support disadvantaged students (formed from savings interest and funding sources).

At the same time, the school has developed a policy to attract and create a source of staff and lecturers from excellent and good graduates of the school.
