With the theme of Homeland Music, three contestants Truong Bao Yen, Nguyen Quynh Anh and Huynh Tuan Du impressed with their performances expressing passionate patriotism.

Star Arena 2025 officially entered the final night of the team formation round. The explosive performances of the contestants and the series of “brain-teasing” decisions from the coaches made the atmosphere in the studio heat up by the minute.

Three familiar coaches including musician Sy Luan, singer Doan Trang and singer Quoc Dai returned to the “hot seat”. While coach Quoc Dai and coach Doan Trang have almost finalized their lineup with 4 contestants, coach Sy Luan is still short of 2 “members”.

In the recent competition night, the mashup song Tren Dinh Phu Van - Chay Di Song Oi performed by contestant Truong Bao Yen made a strong impression on the judges. The female contestant's enchanting and unique voice filled the space, making the coaches and judges immersed in each verse. That is also the reason why Truong Bao Yen quickly conquered the hearts of Coach Doan Trang and Coach Sy Luan.

Unable to hide her joy and love, Coach Doan Trang expressed: “After you sang, I really liked it. A strong, powerful voice. You are good at your job so you can handle many other musical voices.” The female coach also highly appreciated Truong Bao Yen’s costume when she learned that the female contestant herself had drawn and sewn the costume: “I like the innovation on a traditional ao dai foundation. It is very beautiful, very fashionable , very noble, luxurious. It is an aesthetic, so I can see a person’s artistic thinking.”

With Truong Bao Yen's excellent performance, coach Quoc Dai commented that the female contestant is a strong warrior that he must be wary of.

Not only was Truong Bao Yen highly appreciated by the coaches, but she even made judge Nguyen Van Chung want to “take her home” because he loved her voice so much. He said: “I really like Bao Yen’s performance. She is very confident. She mashed up these two songs very intelligently and practiced a lot. I was captivated by her inner strength and the emotions she put into the song. There were details she left out and there were details that were like she was telling a story. It was captivating from beginning to end and the arrangement was also very good, very climaxing.”

At the end of the show, judges Nguyen Van Chung and Thuy Trang chose to give hearts to two contestants with impressive performances during the competition night. Nguyen Quynh Anh and Truong Bao Yen were the two contestants who received hearts from the two judges, and Huynh Tuan Du had to say goodbye to the show.

However, since both coaches Doan Trang and Sy Luan chose Truong Bao Yen, the contestant had the opportunity to choose the team she wanted. After thinking about it, Truong Bao Yen decided to join coach Doan Trang's team.

So, Coach Sy Luan still lacks two contestants for his team. According to the rules of the show, the coaches with extra contestants must choose one contestant to give to the team with the missing coach. After a lively “fight”, Coach Doan Trang gave contestant Xuan Hai and Coach Quoc Dai gave contestant Nam Thanh to Coach Sy Luan.

Closing the team formation night, the three coaches Doan Trang, Quoc Dai and Sy Luan had formed enough 4 contestants for their team.
