In remote highlands, where most of the houses are built on cliffs or next to streams that babble day and night, far away from expensive, colorful technological toys..., the innocence of children seems to be preserved more carefully, making any visitor from afar feel their soul calm.

Nam Vi is a difficult highland commune of Muong Nhe district, Dien Bien province, with a poverty rate of over 60%. The whole commune has 7 villages, 720 households, with over 4,300 people, mainly H'Mong and Thai ethnic groups.

Nam Vi is located in a location with many steep and rugged hills, divided by many streams, and limited infrastructure. Despite many difficulties, most of the people of Nam Vi are hard-working, diligent, and diligent in production.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), the delegation of the Journey "Students with aspirations for the country", implemented by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association, visited, organized a series of exchange activities, organized collective games, presented gifts, school supplies, necessities and a meaningful "Cooking for children" meal at Nam Vi Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Nam Vi commune, Muong Nhe district).

It is known that the school currently has a total of nearly 650 students, divided into 6 campuses. Of which, the main campus has 14 classes, with more than 400 boarding students.
