Attending the film's premiere event in Hanoi on the evening of April 9, Trizzie Phuong Trinh said that she was invited by screenwriter Nhat Ha to play the role of Ellie - the older sister of the female lead Thach Thao (Maya) - because they have many similarities with the character.

In the film, Ellie always protects and loves Thach Thao, is the one who discovers the female lead's talent and gives her her first chance to sing. This detail reminds Trizzie Phuong Trinh of the feelings between her and singer Phi Nhung (1970-2021). In the crying scenes, she said that she only needs five, six seconds to get emotional. ''Thinking about Phi Nhung passing away at such a young age, I can't hold back my emotions,'' the singer said.

In the 1990s, Trizzie Phuong Trinh - then a famous singer overseas - accidentally met Phi Nhung at a temple in Florida (USA). Admiring the voice of her fellow countryman, she convinced Phi Nhung to go to California to pursue art. At that time, the singer of Bong dien dien was raising her child alone, with a salary from her sewing job. After a week of thinking, Phi Nhung listened to Trizzie Phuong Trinh, and was helped by her senior in the first steps of her career.

At first, Trizzie Phuong Trinh taught her juniors to sing and supported the album release. When her father passed away, Phi Nhung flew from Vietnam to the US to mourn. After more than 30 years of knowing each other, the two considered each other family. After Phi Nhung passed away in 2021 due to Covid-19, Trizzie Phuong Trinh took care of the wedding of Wendy Pham - the singer's daughter - in California. In March, she visited Wendy when she gave birth to her first daughter.

Returning to acting after 22 years since the TV series Suong Gio Bien Thuy , Trizzie Phuong Trinh said she has more experience thanks to going through many ups and downs in life. She is supported by her family, friends and ex-husband Bang Kieu. Currently, besides art, she focuses all her time on her three sons, taking care of her beauty, doing business and doing social work.

Trizzie Phuong Trinh, 57 years old, is known as a singer with a sexy style and a "fiery" voice in the overseas market. She was married to Bang Kieu and has three children together: Beckam, Colin and Kenzi. In 2013, the two divorced after 10 years of living together but have maintained a good friendship to this day.

The musical film Fragile Flower produced and directed by Mai Thu Huyen, filmed in the US, features a cast including Maya, Quoc Cuong, Baggio Saetti, and Duc Tien. The work explores the lives of overseas artists and the hidden corners of Vietnamese people's lives abroad. Before its premiere in Vietnam, the project won six awards at the FLOW Film Festival in Florida. Maya won Best Actress, Mai Thu Huyen received the Best Supporting Actress award, and Jacqueline Thu Thao won Best Producer and Best Debut Filmmaker.

The film uses 15 songs in three languages: Vietnamese, English, and French, such as Ru doi di nhe (Trinh Cong Son), Cho em quen tuoi ngoc (Lam Phuong), Sway (Luis Demetrio and Pablo Beltran Ruiz), arranged by musician Le Thanh Tam, most of which are performed by Nhat Ha. After being released in the US and Vietnam, the film will be released in the Indian market on May 31.
