From July 24, people can send condolences, pay tribute, and share memories of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on the VNeID application through the electronic condolence book feature.

On July 24, the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (C06), Ministry of Public Security issued a notice that the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Public Security agreed to deploy an electronic condolence book on the VNeID application with a level 2 account activated for compatriots and comrades to express condolences to the General Secretary's family.

From July 24, people can send condolences, pay tribute, and share memories of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on the VNeID application through the electronic condolence book feature.

To do this, people do the following steps:

Step 1: Log in to your level 2 electronic identification account.

Step 2: On the home screen, click "Send condolences."

Step 3: On the Electronic Condolence Book screen, fill in the title and content of the condolences.

Step 4: Select the "Preview" button to see the content to be sent.

Step 5: Select the "Send Condolences" button.

In the past time, the Ministry of Public Security has approved over 72 million VNeID accounts, deploying many utilities to serve people and businesses such as: Deploying criminal records on VNeID, deploying the use of driver's licenses, vehicle registration integrated on VNeID to participate in traffic; deploying temporary residence registration, integrating social security accounts; using VNeID accounts to log in to public service portals and many other utilities.

VNeID is not only an electronic identification account that helps people, ministries, branches and localities in reforming administrative procedures and online public services, but also a channel to convey people's feelings, thoughts and aspirations to the leaders of the Party and State.

The funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was held according to the National Funeral protocol, taking place over two days, July 25 and 26. General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's coffin was laid to rest at the National Funeral House No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong (Hanoi).

The funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong (Hanoi), starting from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on July 25 and from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on July 26.

The funeral of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at 1:00 p.m. on July 26 at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong (Hanoi).

Funeral at 3:00 p.m. the same day at Mai Dich Cemetery, Hanoi city.

The funeral and memorial services for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong will be held at the same time at Thong Nhat Hall (Ho Chi Minh City) and at his hometown in Dong Hoi commune, Dong Anh district (Hanoi city).
