In his opening speech, comrade Le Quoc Minh affirmed: Over the years, the press has always been a pioneering force, actively and effectively participating in promoting the strategic position of Vietnam's seas and islands. Hundreds of thousands, millions of press works about the seas and islands have been published in all forms, from written, visual, spoken and electronic newspapers.
Breaking news, elaborate radio and television reports, moving photos, and printed articles about the islands that appear in all publications demonstrate the dedication and devotion of reporters and journalists to their profession. Some journalists have set foot on almost all the islands, becoming “family members” of the island soldiers.
In addition to promoting the protection of national sovereignty, the press has clearly reflected the task of developing the marine economy. Journalists, through their works, always encourage patriotism and national pride; at the same time, there are many press works that further beautify the image of our country to international friends - those are proud images of the sky and sea of the Fatherland Vietnam.

Chapter 1 of the program, entitled “Vietnam’s Seas and Islands - Immortal Epic”, recreates the patriotism, solidarity, courage and resilience of heroes, martyrs and those who sacrificed their lives to protect the sovereignty of the seas and islands of the homeland. Protecting the sovereignty of the seas and islands is not only protecting the integrity of the territorial space of the seas and islands, the national and ethnic interests at sea, but also contributing to protecting the Party, the State, the people, the regime and the culture of the sea of Vietnam.
Coming to chapter 2 "Every heart turns to the sea and islands", the audience will listen to gentle and profound performances expressing deep feelings for the homeland's sea and islands, where there are people who are day and night firmly holding guns to protect the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland, there are people who persistently stick to the sea to build and develop the economy.
The sea and islands are a part of the flesh and blood of the Fatherland. There are countless hearts that turn to the sea and islands day and night, giving love to the marine soldiers and other soldiers and forces who day and night protect the sovereignty of the country's sea and islands.
