The Great Unity Park, next to the headquarters of the People's Committee of Di An City, was built on the basis of a previously formed park. To build the Great Unity Park, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city mobilized the city's sectors, organizations, wards, and religious organizations in the area to equip 94 stone benches, design and place a stone named after the Great Unity Park project; plant trees and flowers in vacant land areas, install lighting, equip irrigation water and public trash cans. At the same time, the city mobilized the people of Nhi Dong 2 neighborhood, Di An ward to build 2 badminton courts in the park. The total cost of the Great Unity Park project is about 300 million VND.

Mr. Vo Van Hong, Chairman of Di An City People's Committee, said that the operation of Dai Doan Ket Park brings local people a place for healthy activities, entertainment, physical training and sports; at the same time, it creates a green - clean - beautiful environment, contributing to building a cultural and civilized urban lifestyle in the city.
