On the afternoon of January 8, speaking with VietNamNet, Mr. Dinh Xuan Toan, Editor-in-Chief of Dak Lak Newspaper, confirmed that he had voluntarily submitted a request to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to retire early to create conditions for the consolidation and organization of the apparatus.

According to Mr. Toan, although he is still old and healthy, for the common good of the merger, he asked to retire to create conditions for the younger members to strive and mature. His family also agreed to support his wish.

In the application, Mr. Toan clearly stated that the provincial radio station is currently implementing a merger project according to the plan of the superiors. To create conditions for the authorities to arrange and streamline the apparatus, he voluntarily wrote a resignation letter even though he still had more than 3 years of work left.

"The resignation comes from the sense of responsibility of a party member, so this is a normal story, nothing serious. My wish is to create conditions for the younger generation to strive, inherit and develop," said Mr. Toan.

It is known that Dak Lak Newspaper currently has 40 employees, including 21 on the payroll, while Dak Lak Radio and Television Station has 140 employees, including 99 on the payroll.
