Within the framework of the State visit to Korea, on the morning of August 12 local time, at the Vietnam-Korea Economic Forum with the theme "Cooperation to develop production chains in the new era!", General Secretary To Lam and Korean Prime Minister Kim Min Seok, along with high-ranking delegates of the two countries, witnessed the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between Vietnam and Korea.

Cooperation agreements between Vietnamese ministries, branches and localities with Korean partners include:

- Vietnam News Agency and South Korea's Yonhap News Agency cooperate professionally in a new phase.

- Hai Phong City and SK LEAVEO CO, LTD cooperate to promote green growth development in Hai Phong.

- Hanoi City and One Law Partners (OLP) cooperate to build the Investment and Development Plan for Hoa Lac High-Tech Park.

- Khanh Hoa Province and SK Innovation Corporation cooperate to develop the Specialized Energy Industrial Cluster (SEIC), including investment in Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in Khanh Hoa, development of distributed energy (DER) and LNG-related logistics industry.

- Ca Mau Province and SK Innovation Corporation cooperate strategically to develop the Specialized Energy Industrial Cluster (SEIC), including the LNG Project and regional industrial and agricultural development initiatives.

- Can Tho City and SK Innovation Company cooperate to develop clean and diverse energy technology solutions.

- Bac Ninh province and Si Flex Company cooperate to expand and increase Si Flex Company's investment capital in the project at the Industrial Park in Bac Ninh province.

In addition, there are cooperation agreements on energy and industry, including:

- Vietnam National Shipping Lines (VIMC) and HD Huyndai Group cooperate to establish a joint venture company to build new ships.

- Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) and Hyosung Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. cooperate to implement STATCOM projects and smart grid equipment in Vietnam, including the possibility of manufacturing transformers in Vietnam.

- Vietnam National Industry and Energy Group (PVN); Vietnam Oil and Gas Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) and SK Innovation Company; LS ECO ENERGY Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding on strategic cooperation between Vietnam National Industry and Energy Group (Petrovietnam) and SK Innovation Co., Ltd and a cooperation agreement with LS ECO ENERGY Company on investment, construction and operation of a high-voltage cable factory in Vietnam to serve the Renewable Energy Project.

- Vietnam Airlines Corporation and Korean Air cooperate to establish a joint venture company to provide aircraft maintenance services at Long Thanh International Airport and cooperate in cargo transportation.

- The Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) cooperate in the fields of energy, artificial intelligence (AI), high-tech agriculture, and logistics.

- KN Holdings Group and Samsung C&T Company cooperate to develop 3 floating solar power projects KN SREPOK 3, KN IALY GIA LAI KONTUM.

- Peridot Energy Vietnam Company and Gas Entec Limited Company have strategic cooperation in the field of green fuel.

- The Green Solutions Company and BIONANOKOREA Company cooperate strategically to develop the Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia value chain in the Korean market.

Meanwhile, cooperation in the fields of digital infrastructure, digital transformation and supply chain includes the following agreements:

- Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group and KIRA Company, LG CNS Company cooperate in the field of data centers, including the possibility of jointly investing in developing a data center in Vietnam with an initial capacity of 20-30MW, as well as jointly operating and trading data center services in the Vietnamese market.

- Truong Hai Industrial Group (THACO) and Huyndai Rotem Group cooperate in research, development and implementation of urban railway and high-speed railway projects in Vietnam.

- CMC Technology Group and Samsung C&T Company cooperate to develop AI data center and digital transformation in Vietnam.

- The Military Industry - Telecommunications Group (Viettel) and KT Group have a strategic cooperation to develop AI solutions and AX platforms to contribute to Vietnam's AI strategy and digital transformation.

- Saigon Telecommunication Technology Joint Stock Company (SAIGONTEL - SGT); G-GROUP Company, ZUP Company; Korea Technology and Future Company (KTNF) cooperate to develop the leading data center ecosystem and server platform in Vietnam.

- Phu My Investment Group Joint Stock Company and Eric C&C Company cooperate to develop automatic ports, smart logistics solutions and digital infrastructure to serve Phu My port.

- Vietnam Rubber Group and New Korea Trading Corp signed a cooperation agreement between Vietnam Rubber Group and New Korea to purchase a chain of high-tech agricultural products in the Korean market.

- Viet Phuc Company and MIDAS HOIDING CO., LTD cooperate to develop fruit preservation system, build cold logistics processing facility and expand cooperation in other areas in the agricultural value chain. Cooperation in finance-banking, services and tourism includes the following agreements:

- National Innovation Center (NIC) and Nextrans Company; Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) cooperate in investing in innovation, startups and supporting the formation and development of the National Innovation Fund.

- BIDV Bank and Hana Bank cooperate to deploy cross-border payment service via QR code from Korea to Vietnam, in which Hana and BIDV act as intermediary payment banks.

- Saigon Tourist Corporation (Saigontourist Group) - Saigon Fair and Exhibition Joint Venture Company, Saigontourist Travel Company and Vietnam Airlines and Korea Tourism Organization (KTO); Hana Tour; COEX Convention and Exhibition Center cooperate to develop tourism services, digital technology in transportation, aviation, services, and Vietnam-Korea tourism.

- Military Bank, SK Innovation Company and Seojin System Company cooperate to provide financial and banking services in Vietnam.

- Vinpearl Joint Stock Company and Hana Tour; HKG Company; Highlands Marketing Company cooperate to promote tourism between Vietnam and Korea.

- CT Group and Airbility Company; Imagis Company; Inha University (Korea) cooperated with Airbility Company to export 5,000 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV); cooperated with Imagis Company to export 100 million semiconductor chips and cooperated with Inha University (Korea) to train and transfer semiconductor technology.

- EPSI Development Trading and Service Co., Ltd. and Myongji Medical Foundation cooperate to develop, operate and manage the leading nursing home, resort and rehabilitation center in the Ho Tram-Xuyen Moc area. Cooperation in training high-quality human resources includes the following agreements:

- Hanoi National University and Sungkyunkwan University; KEPCO-KDN Company cooperate in training high-quality human resources, exchanging lecturers, implementing applied research, transferring technology especially in the fields of semiconductors, biotechnology, and biomedicine.

- Hanoi University of Science and Technology cooperates in exchanging students, lecturers, interns, training quality human resources in strategic technology sectors, scientific research and technology transfer with partners including Hyosung Dong Nai Company, Pohang University of Science and Technology; Kyungpook National University, School of Engineering, Seoul National University.

- Vietnam Railway Transport Joint Stock Company and SR Company cooperate to develop human resources in the fields of construction, engineering and management of high-speed railway operations and urban railway signaling systems.

- FPT Corporation; FPT University and Gachon University; Abov Conductor Company cooperate in training Semiconductor 2+2 linking training and businesses; training to improve research quality and foster expertise for Semiconductor Microchip lecturers.

- Dai Nam University and Yeungnam University signed a cooperation agreement (MOA) on the 2+2 Joint Training Program in Semiconductor Technology.

- The Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology and Chung Ang University agreed to cooperate in training dual degrees in the undergraduate program of Multimedia Technology; establishing a training model of the Vietnam-Korea Virtual Convergence School, and researching and developing technology applications in the cultural industry.

- University of Transport Technology and Korea National University of Transport cooperate to implement a dual bachelor's degree program in the field of high-speed railway engineering, participate in training and coaching lecturers in short-term courses on high-speed railways, and receive students.

- Duy Tan University and Chungbuk National University signed a cooperation agreement (MOA) on implementing a dual bachelor's degree program and joint master's training (tuition-free for Duy Tan University students) in the fields of technology, AI, semiconductors... and a memorandum of understanding on scientific research cooperation between lecturers of the two universities to form strong research groups in the fields of technology and AI with financial support from the Korean Government.
