On the evening of August 10, more than 50,000 spectators at My Dinh National Stadium placed their hands on their hearts and sang along to the song “Tien Quan Ca” by musician Van Cao.

That was the most touching moment in the political art program "Fatherland in the Heart" co-organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper, Hanoi People's Committee and other units to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

“Fatherland in the Heart” is also a call to arms, spirit and solidarity of a nation that has gone through many ups and downs, from the years of fighting for independence, to the work of building a strong Vietnam today.

“The Fatherland – two sacred words, is not only the place where we were born and raised, but also contains the traditions, culture, and history of the nation. Therefore, the Fatherland is always in the heart of each person, always a source of pride to continue the glorious past, create humanistic values in the present, and reach for a brilliant future,” said Mr. Le Quoc Minh.

According to the Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, from the V-shaped stage design symbolizing “Vietnam-Victory” to sacred images such as the fluttering Red Flag with Yellow Star, the army marching majestically and powerfully, or timeless slices recreating history... all were elaborately staged with the desire to evoke pride and unite the hearts of millions of Vietnamese people at home and abroad.
