Speaking with Thanh Nien Newspaper on January 8, Mr. Le Tri Truong - General Secretary of VFV affirmed: "The trend of betting in world sports competitions has developed for a long time, but in our country it is not allowed.

Up to this point, we have not received any notice from the authorities about match-fixing in the 2023 National Volleyball Championship. The detection and investigation of match-fixing and online betting are under the authority of the authorities. Only the authorities have the expertise and authority to consider the level of violation to handle it in accordance with the law. Up to this point, VFV has not received any clear evidence, so when there is a conclusion, we will notify the next measures."
