Fulfilling assigned targets well, in 2023, the Ha Tinh Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union was one of 5 units classified by the Provincial Labor Federation as having excellently completed its tasks.

On the afternoon of December 26, the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union held a conference to summarize union activities in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.

Leaders of several departments and branches attended the conference.

The Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union currently has 54 grassroots trade unions with 4,521 union members. Closely following the targets and tasks of the Provincial Federation of Labor's Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial State Agencies and Enterprises, in 2023, the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union focused on directing and implementing well the set targets and tasks; many of which exceeded the plan.

Grassroots trade unions have coordinated with experts to organize conferences for cadres, civil servants and workers in accordance with regulations; creating a forum for union members and workers to express their thoughts, propose aspirations and solutions in performing professional tasks and taking care of the material and spiritual life of workers.

The units visited and presented over 500 gifts to union members worth nearly 500 million VND; supported 300 gifts to a number of district and industry unions worth nearly 200 million VND.

Key programs such as “Tet Sum Vay” and “Worker Month” were systematically implemented with many diverse activities, focusing on workers: giving 255 gifts worth hundreds of millions of VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; periodic health check-ups; organizing training conferences; dialogues at the workplace; honoring typical examples in the program “One Million Initiatives”...

In addition, the Union branches also pay attention to social charity work with activities such as: supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; giving gifts to war invalids, families of martyrs, and people with meritorious services in the province; sponsoring 39 children of union members. Professional coordination to support localities in building new rural areas with an amount of more than 1.5 billion VND; calling for the construction of 41 houses for the poor worth nearly 2 billion VND...

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises, Ha Thi Sam, suggested: The Provincial Civil Servants' Union should continue to promote its role in implementing administrative reform, digital transformation, building agencies and units that meet cultural standards; building a united and unified collective, contributing to the professional performance of the political tasks of their agencies and units.

Responding to the call of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Trade Unions mobilized members to support the construction of solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province and some Northwestern provinces; and support the people of Türkiye and Syria to overcome the consequences of the earthquake with a total amount of nearly 500 million VND.

Propaganda, mobilization and education of union members are focused on. Many online competitions are held, attracting the participation of a large number of union members and workers; contributing to the dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws.

The Union launched and implemented many emulation movements such as: "Building loyal, honest, transparent, exemplary, knowledgeable and professional cadres and civil servants"; "Good advice associated with administrative reform and digital transformation"; "Scientific research and promotion of initiatives, technical improvements applied to professional practice"; "Building cultural agencies, units, and civilized urban areas"...

Through emulation movements, there are 857 initiatives participating in the "One million initiatives" program of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 86 units have initiatives, tasks, and products to welcome trade union congresses at all levels with a total value of nearly 22 billion VND...

With these achievements, in 2023, the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union was classified by the Provincial Federation of Labor as a collective that excellently fulfilled its tasks; was awarded an excellent emulation flag by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; many collectives and individuals were commended by all levels and sectors...

Promoting the achieved results, in 2024, the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union identified key tasks: launching a vibrant and practical emulation movement, completing the targets assigned by superiors; focusing on administrative reform and digital transformation; effectively implementing the activities of "Tet Sum Vay", "Workers' Month"...

At the conference, delegates shared experiences in working at the Trade Union; proposed ideas to improve the quality of emulation movements; strengthen administrative reform, digital transformation; further promote the role of the Trade Union Social Fund in supporting union members to build houses...

On this occasion, the Provincial Civil Servants' Union also awarded the "For the cause of building trade union organizations" medal of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 11 individuals, awarded 2 "Creative Labor" certificates of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 2 individuals; awarded certificates of merit of the Provincial Confederation of Labor to 4 collectives and 28 individuals; and presented certificates of merit to 4 collectives and 57 individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities.
