SYNCHRONOUSLY DEPLOY SOLUTIONS TO PREVENT, COMBAT, TRACKING, AND HANDLING ALL TYPES OF CRIMES

The assessment of the situation in November shows that political security, order and social safety in the area continue to be ensured. The armed forces strictly maintain combat readiness, coordinate to grasp the situation, ensure national security; proactively detect and advise on handling to avoid complications in security and order.

The authorities have resolutely and synchronously deployed preventive measures, combated, hunted down, and strictly handled all types of crimes and social evils such as: Crimes violating economic and environmental management order, drug crimes, high-tech crimes, violations of trading and transporting firecrackers, etc.

During the month, 24 drug crimes were detected, 30 subjects were arrested, 15.5 grams of heroin, 10.3 grams and 429 synthetic drug pills were seized, and 12.6 grams of crystal meth were seized.

Regarding high-tech crimes, authorities have discovered 5 cases and 35 subjects, mainly gambling on cyberspace.

Investigation, prosecution and trial of cases continue to be focused on by the prosecution agencies, especially cases under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee on anti-corruption and negativity.

Party committees and authorities at all levels continue to pay attention to the work of receiving people, handling and resolving petitions, complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections from citizens according to regulations.

The work of preventing and combating smuggling, trade fraud, trade in counterfeit, banned and poor quality goods, and food hygiene and safety has been promoted; the enforcement of civil judgments has seen many positive changes; measures for fire prevention, fighting, search and rescue have been deployed promptly and proactively.

PROACTIVELY GRASP THE SITUATION, ENSURE SECURITY AND ORDER IN ALL FIELDS

Regarding the tasks in December 2023, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested the armed forces to maintain combat readiness; coordinate with local authorities to organize patrols and controls to protect the sovereignty of borders, seas and islands, ensure national security, order and social safety in the area.

Strengthening the work of grasping the situation, ensuring security in specific fields and areas; ensuring absolute safety for important events of the province, high-ranking delegations of the Party, State, and international guests visiting and working in Nghe An.

Continue to handle and resolve complex, prominent issues that are of public concern; focus on effectively handling and resolving complex issues right from the grassroots level, avoiding being passive or surprised.

Strengthen the fight against and suppress all types of crimes and law violations, especially crimes against social order, drug crimes, gambling crimes, high-tech crimes, economic and environmental crimes, etc.; strengthen forest management and protection, flood and storm prevention and control; promptly coordinate in handling acts of trading and transporting prohibited goods, counterfeit goods, and food safety and hygiene;...

Coordinate and effectively implement the work of detecting, transferring, receiving, classifying, and handling denunciations and reports of crimes, recommending prosecution, arrest, and investigation and handling of crimes... Strengthen the work of detecting and handling corruption and negativity through inspection, supervision, investigation, and handling of denunciations and handling of information about crimes; strengthen the recovery of lost and misappropriated assets in corruption, economic, and negativity cases.

Party committees and authorities at all levels continue to perform well the work of receiving citizens, having direct dialogue with citizens and handling citizens' reflections and recommendations according to regulations; focusing on resolving cases and lawsuits under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee.
