This afternoon, March 22, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee worked with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union on a number of key tasks in 2024. In 2023, political and ideological education work will be focused on by the Youth Union at all levels with many forms suitable to reality. Activities of researching, disseminating and studying resolutions of Party congresses and resolutions of Youth Union congresses at all levels will be effectively implemented.

Implementing the 2023 working theme "The year of digital transformation of union activities", union chapters at all levels have focused on innovating the content and methods of operation, enhancing the application of information technology, digital transformation in activities with many outstanding and creative activities, creating a widespread influence among young people and all classes of people. Union chapters at all levels have built 35 projects to digitize information about the history, land and people of Quang Tri.

The Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee continues to consolidate, improve and synchronously deploy solutions to improve the quality of work in building a strong youth union organization; strongly and comprehensively innovate the organization, content and working methods to meet the requirements of the new situation; recruit 10,019 new union members, establish 6 new union bases...

The work of the Youth Union in participating in Party and government building continues to receive attention from all levels of the Youth Union. The Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee jointly organized the Workshop "Promoting the development of Party members among Youth Union members in residential areas and Party members aged 18" in both direct and online forms to 8 districts and towns in the whole province with the participation of nearly 500 delegates.

The campaign "Youth Union members strive to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam" was effectively implemented, through which the entire Union introduced 1,968 outstanding union members for the Party to consider admission, of which 781 people were admitted to the Party.

The teams in the whole province actively implemented training courses for reserve team members and innovated the form of recruiting new team members. The activities of the Vietnam Youth Union and its collective members continued to be consolidated and enhanced.

The chapters at all levels have focused on organizing activities to support young people starting businesses, social security projects and programs, and volunteering for community life, with a value of more than 1.1 billion VND. Speaking at the working session, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang requested the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee to focus on implementing the youth union work program and youth movement in 2024.

In particular, special attention is paid to innovating the content and methods of operation to effectively organize programs and activities to educate revolutionary ideals, ethics, cultural lifestyle; the Party and State's guidelines and policies as well as to educate and foster the aspiration to contribute to the homeland and country for the young generation.

Focus on implementing key programs, projects, and breakthrough areas for the 2022-2027 term; build pilot models in various fields to replicate throughout the entire group. Actively and effectively organize volunteer activities to participate in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, volunteering to protect the environment, responding to climate change, and volunteering to ensure social security.

Actively use digital applications in directing, operating, holding conferences, training, managing union work, managing union and team operations and movements, and operating more effectively. Pay attention to improving the quality of accompanying activities, supporting young people to start a business. Focus on directing, orienting, and creating conditions to improve the quality of organization, apparatus, and operations of Children's Houses at all levels and the Quang Tri Youth Activity Center.
