On December 19, information from the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Nghe An said that this unit has just coordinated with the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone, People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to survey the Lunar New Year bonus level at enterprises in the area.
Of which, there are 11 single-member LLCs with 100% state capital, 21 companies with controlling shares and capital contributions from the state, 8,525 private enterprises and 70 enterprises with foreign direct investment (FDI).
Accordingly, the average bonus that businesses plan to give employees for the Lunar New Year 2025 is 3.6 million VND/person (200,000 VND higher than the Lunar New Year 2024).
Specifically, for the block of single-member LLCs with 100% charter capital held by the State, the highest bonus is 19.36 million VND/person, the average is 4.6 million VND/person, the lowest is 300,000 VND/person.
For companies with shares and capital contributions controlled by the State, the highest bonus is 37 million VND/person; the average is 2.4 million VND/person, the lowest is 300,000 VND/person.
In the private enterprise sector, the highest bonus is 30 million VND/person, the average is 2.9 million VND/person, the lowest is 300,000 VND/person.
In the foreign-invested enterprise sector, the highest bonus is 74 million VND/person; the average is 4.6 million VND/person, the lowest is 300,000 VND/person.
Some businesses plan to pay bonuses to employees on the occasion of New Year's Eve with an average bonus of 1.6 million VND/person, the highest is 15 million VND/person, the lowest is 100,000 VND/person.
In 2024, a business in Nghe An paid the highest bonus to employees on Tet holiday of 99.5 million VND.
Data recently released by the Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of Planning and Investment shows that from the beginning of this year to the end of November 2024, Nghe An attracted more than 1.56 billion USD in FDI capital, ranking 9th out of 63 provinces and cities.
This is the second consecutive year Nghe An has attracted FDI capital exceeding 1 billion USD.
