Currently, in the province, there are three social housing projects being built by enterprises investing in urban areas from 20% of the land fund with completed infrastructure, which is the main volume of social housing registered for completion in 2025.
In recent times, the Department of Construction has coordinated with management agencies and functional sectors to closely monitor the progress of projects, urging investors to actively implement them correctly and on schedule. In particular, the social housing project in An Phu Urban Area (Tan An Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City) invested by An Phu Company has started construction early, and to date, 9 apartment blocks with 330 apartments have been basically completed.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the investor will technically hand over the first 35 apartments to the owners. After this handover, the company will deploy 131 social housing units in the list of registered purchases by employees, to be handed over in June 2025. The remaining apartments will also be completed in 2025.
Phu Yen province delegation learns about social housing project in Dak Lak, preparing for the plan to merge the two provinces. |
Currently, Dak Lak Department of Construction is coordinating with other social housing projects, such as Eco Premium City project, Trung Nguyen Coffee City project... to promote procedures, legal steps and investment organization... These projects are all showing positive signs of implementation, aiming to complete investment in nearly 2,000 social housing units by 2025.
This is only the first stage, because in the near future, after the merger of the province, Dak Lak urban space will expand, the province will need to have more social housing projects and participate in the National Housing Fund, providing housing for young workers under 35 years old. The number and area of housing in the area will be very large, especially if production projects are attracted to increase in the area, with tens of thousands of workers coming to work locally.
From this perspective, it can be envisioned that within the next 5 years, Dak Lak province after the merger needs to focus on completing the planning of a very large housing fund for workers, especially social housing funds. This housing fund is not simply the minimum living space, but also needs to resonate with the ecological environment, urban landscape infrastructure, living conditions and development investment, social welfare land funds and other social projects. All of these are posing significant challenges to the investment and development vision of Dak Lak province after the merger.
