Recall of facial cleanser batch containing 2 substances not in the declared ingredients

The recalled batch of Episode BM Beaumore Apricot Scrub Foam Cleansing (Apricot Scrub Foam Cleansing, Beaumore brand) - 120g tube has number HM25; production date January 2, 2025; expiry date 3 years.

The product has been granted the registration number: 000138/21/CBMP-HCM; Khang Thinh Import Export Company Limited (30/110 Do Nhuan, Tan Son Nhi Ward, HCMC) is responsible for bringing it to market and packaging.

The reason for the recall was that the test sample contained Methylparaben and Propylparaben (two preservatives) that were not included in the formula ingredients that had been granted a Cosmetic Product Declaration Receipt Number.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam ( Ministry of Health ) requests the Department of Health of provinces and cities to notify businesses and cosmetic users in the area to immediately stop trading and using the above batch of Episode BM Beaumore Apricot Seed Facial Cleanser and return the product to the supplier; Proceed to recall and destroy the batch of violating products...

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health is responsible for supervising Khang Thinh Import-Export Company Limited in recalling and destroying product batches that do not meet regulations; and withdrawing the receipt number of this Cosmetic Product Declaration Form.

On the same day, the Drug Administration of Vietnam announced the suspension of circulation and nationwide recall of the product batch Fobe Mouth Ulcer Gel - Box of 1 tube of 10g . The label states: Receipt number of Declaration Form: 15527/23/CBMP-HN, Batch number: 071124, production date 11/7/2024, expiration date 11/7/2027.

The organization responsible for bringing this product to the market is Fobelife Joint Stock Company (address: 137/1A Nguyen Quy Anh, Tan Son Nhi Ward, HCMC), SJK Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Biotechnology Company Limited (address: Lot CN2, Phu Nghia Industrial Park, Phu Nghia Commune, Hanoi ).

The reason for the recall is that the test sample (taken at Phuc Khang pharmacy in Tuyen Quang commune, Lam Dong province) did not meet the quality standards for microbial limits.
